Hypnosis
I will guide you into a deep state of focus and relaxation with verbal cues, repetition and imagery. When you’re under hypnosis, this intense level of concentration and focus allows you to ignore ordinary distractions and be more open to guided suggestions to make the changes to improve your life.
During hypnosis:
- Your conscious mind is quieted.
- You’re able to tap into the part of your brain where your thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, sensations, emotions, memory and behaviors originate.
- In this state, you’re more open to gentle guidance from your hypnotist to support you in modifying or replacing the unconscious thoughts and beliefs that drive your current behavior.
Hypnosis may help you to overcome any number of conditions in which psychological factors influence physical symptoms or behaviors. Examples include:
- Anxiety
- Insomnia
- Post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD)
- Giving up smoking or other addictions
Hypnosis is a completely natural state. In fact, I go in and out of hypnosis throughout the day. Have you ever been driving and missed your exit on the freeway? Or, been deeply absorbed in a movie and forgot you’re actually watching a projected image of actors on screen? Perhaps you've zoned out and daydreamed while someone was talking to you. All of these are all examples of being in a state of hypnosis.
